Eurostar fares work like airline fares. Booking early on an off-peak train may cost as little as £59, but a popular date or time closer to the travel date will cost more. Some ticket types are not subject to these fluctuations (the ones shown without a “from” in the chart), and you will always pay the same price for these as long as there are seats available.

One-way fares on Eurostar: Sometimes, if you ask for a one-way journey with Eurostar, you will be offered an expensive business-class fully-flexible one-way ticket for £155, even when a $59 return ticket is available on the same train. In this case, the best solution is to buy a return ticket and use it only for the outward journey. The return journey portion of the ticked can be safely discarded. There are no practical problems in doing this, as this is the time-honoured approach adopted by regular travellers.

Train Times
Eurostar trains run from Central London (St. Pancras Station) to Central Paris (Gare du Nord) every hour or so, 7 days a week except for Christmas Day. London to Brussels trains are slightly less frequent. London to Paris takes as little as 2 hours 15 minutes, while the journey to Brussels takes just 1 hour 51 minutes. Only 20 minutes of the journey is actually spent through the Channel Tunnel, the rest is passing through the scenic countryside of Kent and Northern France. Some Eurostars pick up passengers at Ebsfleet International (near the M25) and Ashford International in the UK. Some Eurostars also stop at Lille in Northern France - the interchange point for French TGV high-speed trains to destinations all over France.
